Kidney stones are worse then labor! - June 22, 2010 -
I have had nine kids many of them without painkillers, but none of them had me curdled up on an ER floor (yes that’s right the germ filled ER floor) screaming for mercy. The fun doesn’t even end today, seems I have a bunch of these stones in me and the next two weeks will be a living hell. To top it off poor Rita had to be weened without warning because of the medication I am on.
Okay the pity party is over for now…(sigh)
On a happy note I have lots of opportunity to offer up stuff for my special intentions, may grace flow from my pain and stones from my body. God is good! Every time I say that I hear my kids in my head shouting the reply, “All the time”. It makes me smile. 
I love you. What causes these things? Wow, peeing pain and weaning, that’s heavy stuff! Will vibration help from one of those electronic message things people get for their knotted muscles?

Oh Jessica! How awful! I will pray that you get through this quickly and in as little pain as possible! I wish that I lived closer to you….Do you need anything? Dan and I would be happy to help! Perhaps we could bring your family a couple of meals??

Thank you so much for your prayers! Especially the daily prayers you and Sussette have been doing for my family! They help so much. Don’t think your move to Kentucky is going to get you out of the visit to my home that you owe us!

Oh. Jessica. I am so sorry. Mom has had then and it was hurrible. I’ll pay for you. Drink a lot so it goes faster.

That’s awful. I am so sorry to hear it. I know weaning Rita will break your heart more. What if??? you pump and dump as they have our nicu Moms do when they are on meds and can’t breastfeed? Then when the meds are over, you can start again if Rita wants to?
Anyway, you know best as I have not had your experience.

You may remember that I have had bouts with kidney stones frequently over the last 3 years, including two lithotripsies. I definitely feel for you! {{HUGS}}
I hope they are able to figure it out and get all the stones out. If you want to commiserate, you know how to find me!
